GP Referrals are up!

Great news from the 2024 Orthodontic Products Annual Survey: referrals from general dentists to orthodontists jumped from 38% to 43%. That’s a solid 5% bump. Coincidence? We think not. Let's be real—those extra 5 percentage points? We will take credit for that!


Kidding, kidding... maybe we didn’t single-handedly revolutionize the orthodontic referral pipeline, but in a world where every practice is battling economic changes, staffing shortages, and patient volume anxiety, it sure feels good to see some data moving in the right direction. Especially when it's the kind of direction that lines up with what we do best: helping orthodontic practices build structured, proactive, meaningful relationships with their referring GPs.


When practices invest in referral systems that make it easier for GPs to refer, and more rewarding for everyone involved, good things happen. And this year, those good things showed up as a 5% increase in dentist-to-ortho referrals.
