One of the most common questions specialists ask is:
"How many of my referrals actually scheduled an appointment?"
Now, Bright Referral makes it even easier to find that answer.
We're excited to introduce our new Unresponsive / Not Interested referral filter, designed to help you quickly identify patients who never followed through after receiving their referral.
Better Visibility Into Referral Outcomes
Not every referral results in an appointment. Patients may decide not to pursue treatment, become unreachable, seek care elsewhere, or simply never take the next step.
Until now, those referrals were categorized as "closed" and were mixed in with those who scheduled an appointment With our new filter, you can instantly see which referrals remain unresolved due to patient non-response or lack of interest.

How It Works
When referral is marked as Unresponsive / Not Interested in the patient profile page, a red dot indicator will appear alongside the referral status in the activity feed.
This visual cue makes it easy to spot referrals that did not convert into appointments at a glance.
You can also use the new Unresponsive / Not Interested filter on the Activity screen to view all such referrals in one place.
Why This Matters
Having a clear picture of referral outcomes helps your team:
Understand true referral conversion rates
Identify opportunities for additional patient follow-up
Track referral performance more accurately
Have more meaningful conversations with referring providers
Focus attention on referrals that may still need intervention
Available Anytime on the Activity Screen
The new filter is available now and can be accessed anytime from the Activity screen.
Simply look for the red dot indicator or select the Unresponsive / Not Interested filter to quickly review referrals that never progressed to a scheduled appointment.
As always, our goal is to give practices better visibility into every referral and make referral management as simple and transparent as possible.
