*New Feature Alert*: Internal Referral Source Notes

Now you can keep internal notes for every referral source

Strong referral relationships are built on the little things.

Remembering an office manager's birthday. Keeping track of the last time you stopped by with lunch. Noting what made last year's community event a success. These small details help create stronger, more meaningful connections over time.

That's why we're excited to introduce Referral Notes—a simple new feature that helps you keep important information organized and easily accessible for every referral source.

Check out the details here:

Keep Important Details in One Place

Every referral source has a story, and now you have a dedicated place to capture it.

Simply navigate to your Referral Sources page, select Options > Edit, and scroll to the new Referral Notes section.

Here, you can record any information that's helpful for your team to remember the next time you connect.

Built for Relationships

Referral Notes are completely flexible, so you can use them in whatever way best supports your practice.

Some ideas include:

  • Recording doctor or staff birthdays

  • Noting office preferences, such as dietary restrictions for lunch deliveries

  • Tracking the date of your last visit or marketing drop-off

  • Remembering personal details that make future conversations more meaningful

  • Keeping notes about previous conversations or follow-up opportunities

  • Documenting successful event promotions or booth giveaways

  • Comparing year-over-year event strategies to see what generated the most referrals

Instead of relying on sticky notes, spreadsheets, or someone's memory, your team can keep everything tied directly to the referral source.

For Your Eyes Only

Referral Notes are 100% internal.

They are visible only to your practice and are never shared with referring offices or patients. That means you can confidently use them as your team's private relationship management tool, keeping valuable context exactly where you need it.

Relationship Building Made Easier

At Bright Referral, we believe technology should strengthen real-world relationships - not replace them.

Referral Notes are another small but meaningful way to help your team stay organized, provide a more personal experience, and build stronger connections with the people who help your practice grow.

Because sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference.
